Greetings!
Following thread jech/galene#82, I propose to add support for the
protocol XMPP.
Doing so would allow to interoperate with desktop and mobile XMPP
clients (e.g. Dino, Movim, and Pàdé), and it would also encourage
similar projects (e.g. Big Blue Button, and Jingle Meet) to so as well.
It is important to mention, that the XMPP community is willing to offer
help, references and instructions concerning this issue.

It might be, that some organizations would also want to assist with
this endeavour.
Doing so, would further strengthen the XEP specifications that are
concerning to VoIP and video conferencing over XMPP.
