If you want to disable IPV6, then connect into you VM and type : sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1 sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1 Then check your network interface as no IPV6 access by typing : Ifconfig Once you have disabled IPV6 to the test with firefox again and try to switch on a webcam using again firefox ….
