HI! I'm testing recent git revision 63cfce9eec7169a72e56baa70829f148f8dd3642. After sharing the entire screen the link/button did not turn into "Unshare Screen". I was not able to switch off screen-sharing. Ciao, Michael.

Yes, the UI has changed, since people wanted the ability to close just one
screen share. There is now a cross in the top-right corner of the shared
window, which you can see if you mouse over it.
Better UI ideas?

Ah, ok.
Actually I had looked for such a close-cross but I did not see it
because it's white and my own window was very bright.
At least the white close-cross should have a dark background. Otherwise
it's really hard to perceive.
Ciao, Michael.

Right.
Could you please file a bug, CC-ing @takdj? (If not, I'll do it myself.)

(If not, I'll do it myself.) https://github.com/jech/galene/issues/98 Not sure what you mean with CC-ing @takdj. Ciao, Michael.

Which then causes the Github notification system to spam their mailbox, which in turn causes them to come back from vacation and work on Galene ;-)
