Galène is a videoconferencing server, similar in spirit to Jitsi, BigBlueButton, Ion-SFU and Janus, that is easy to deploy and requires moderate server resources. Galène has been originally designed for lectures and seminars, but has turned out to be fairly popular for meetings and conferences. Source code is available at https://github.com/jech/galene/ A demo server is available at https://galene.org:8443/ For more information about Galène, please see https://galene.org Galène's development is supported by Nexedi <https://nexedi.com>, who have been funding Alain Takoudjou's work on the user interface. The mailing list is provded by Toke Høiland-Jørgensen. I am also indebted to all the people who took the risk to use Galène for their lectures and seminars over the last year, and especially to the organisers of the SOCS'2020 conference. Enjoy, -- Juliusz Chroboczek
