Dear all,

Galene 0.96 is available by doing

    git clone -b galene-0.96 https://github.com/jech/galene

This is a fairly modest release, but it adds what is probably the most
requested feature: background blur. Background blur is a separate
download, please see

  https://galene.org/INSTALL.html#optional-install-libraries-for-background-blur

for intallation instructions. For more details, please see

  https://lists.galene.org/galene/87pllv69oz.wl-jch@irif.fr
  https://lists.galene.org/galene/87seqnhjrb.wl-jch@irif.fr

Background blur is currently disabled on Safari, since it's been reported
that it doesn't work and I don't currently have access to an Apple shiny.
