Subject: [Galene] ANNOUNCE: galene-file-transfer 0.1 and 0.2

Message-ID: <87r06nms3k.wl-jch@irif.fr> (raw)
Dear all,
Galene-file-transfer 0.2 is available by doing
git clone -b galene-file-transfer-0.2 https://github.com/jech/galene-file-transfer
Version 0.2 of galene-file-transfer implements the protocol used by
Galene 0.95. For use with older versions of Galene, please use version 0.1.
The Galene webclient implements a peer-to-peer protocol for transferring
files between participants. Depending on your browser implementation, the
files transferred might be limited to a few gigabytes. Galene-file-transfer
is a command-line file transfer peer that is only limited by the size of
JSON numbers (2^53 bytes).
