Subject: [Galene] regression/missing feature since 0.95
Date: Thu, 2 Jan 2025 08:36:42 +0100	[thread overview]

Hello,

up to 0.9 the way I was using galene was: open to everyone as a presenter with
the login and password they want (public instances) and a "wildcard-user" with a
specific password to login directly as "operator" with the login you want.

Since the rewrite of the creds I do not seem to be able to do that, is this
intended? Am I missing an obvious setup?

either I have

"wildcard-user": {"password": {"type": "wildcard"}, "permissions": "present"},
or
"wildcard-user": {"password": "1234", "permissions": "op"},

But I can't seem to have both?

Best regards,
Bapt
