I've just reworked the protocol, please test the new version.
I'm probably going to wait a few days for bugs to surface, then release
the current master as 0.2, except if I find the energy to implement saving
to disk of VP9 (and perhaps even H.264).
If anyone has time to spend puzzling over codecs: for VP9, the main
stumbling block is code to determine the frame size from a VP9 keyframe:

For H.264, it's a little more involved, since we'd probably like to save
it in an mp4 container (but then, perhaps mkv is okay).
