A recent conference found a crash in Galene, when a single frame is so
large that it fills the samplebuilder buffer. I've just committed a fix.
While I was at it, I updated dependencies.

Please test, I'm hoping to releae 0.4.2 by the end of the week.

Hi Juliusz

I have updated my raspberry’s installation behind the terrible SFR box using the awful SFR network (thus using the builtin turn of galene)

As far as I can see, no other problem than SFR network cuts (I suspect that these are routing problems in fact) that disconnect me from galène (the same happens using BigBlueButton).

I would dream that some dedicated client could reconnect automatically….

I will try this week end the galene-stream (interested with the SRT streaming from OBS)

Cheers,

Fabrice.

I'd be interested on understanding that. Could you please describe
exactly what happens? What is behind the SFR network, the client or the
server? Does the IP address change? Does the websocket connection drop?

First, remember I have the same problem, due to SFR Network, with Bigbluebutton (and probably other systems).

Server :
- on a raspberry directly connected to the box (router) with RJ45
- galene 0.42 with builtin turn
- only the ports 1194 and 8443 are forwarded from the box (router) to the server

Clients :
I have tried many situations :
	- local machine (behind SFR network)
	- local machine with VPN (Inria)
	- external on RENATER
	- external 4G Orange and Bouygues
With many navigators : Safari, Brave, Chrome, Firefox

Each time :
	- the IP stays fix
	- the web socket connexion drops : the first sign is the contrast of video of the webcam which changes, this is I guess the alert that the web socket drop
	- then I am thrown away back to the login page.

Note : yesterdays I was in the train in 4G with a bad connexions. I thus had the same symptoms but the image of the webcam did come back without disconnecting.

Hope this can help.

FWIW it seems to work for me.

Ciao, Michael.

Thanks for testing, but it doesn't :-(

The recording code is broken in case of regular packet disordering. I've
written more unit tests, and am busy fixing the issues.

We just lost the recording of a good seminar over a bad link :-(

Hi,

With the configuration described few days ago (raspberry behind a SFR box), as the SFR Network seem to work correctly today, I did test a little bit more.

It seems that the simulcast « auto » does not work properly. The test has been done with 3 clients :
- MacBook on local network Safari/Brave
- iPad on local network Safari/Firefox
- iPhone in 4G Safari

With simulcast « auto » I can connect 2 devices but not 3 with the simulcast « off » the 3 are connecting and work perfectly.

Hopefully fixed now. I'm still testing.

Could you please specify exactly what happens? Are the clients connecting
but not seeing each other, or do they get disconnected? Is there anything
in the Javascript console?
