Galene 0.8.1 is available by doing
git clone -b galene-0.8.1 https://github.com/jech/galene
For more information about the Galene videoconference server, please see
https://galene.org
New functionality is being implemented on the 'api' branch, but in the
meantime a number of minor changes have landed on the master branch. The
Improvements include better security for unauthentified WISH clients,
expiration dates in group descriptions, and improved error messages for
token authentication failures.
9 March 2024: Galene 0.8.1
* Security fixes to WHIP ingress.
* Improved error messages for authentication failures.
* Added "expires" and "not-before" to group descriptions.
* Allow proxyURL to contain a path, for people who run Galene at
non-root URLs. This requires manually modifying the files under
'static/' in order to point at the right locations.
