Hello all,

what I would like to see in Galène is an easy way to broadcast a PDF (like it is possible with videos) without share screen.

Now, what I am able to do is open Acrobat Reader -> share screen -> my.pdf : doing so, I get the Acrobat interface window. If I want to turn pages, I have to switch from Galène browser window to Acrobat window…

How do you present your PDFs? (I am using a Mac)

I open two windows simultaneously, one with Galene, and one with the PDF
(I use uPDF for presentations).  I then share the window with the PDF,
which occupies roughly half my screen.

Some other users prefer to share a browser window with the PDF.

Are you using Safari?  The above procedure works with Firefox and
Chromium, but not with Safari, which doesn't support sharing a single
window or a single tab.  (A pity, since Safari is a nice browser.)

That would require implementing a PDF renderer in Galene itself.  Not
impossible (see <https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/>), but not something
I'm competent to do myself.
