Hi,
Galène 0.3.4 is now available from
git clone -b galene-0.3.4 https://github.com/jech/galene
For more information about the Galène videoconference server, please see

This version fixes a longstanding bug in the packet loss estimator; the
effect is that we will drop the bitrate more aggressively when there is
congestion in the client->server direction. Please test by choosing
« Send: unlimited » in the side menu; unless your network is badly
bufferbloated, Galène should now stabilise at an acceptable rate. If that
works well for everyone, I might increase the default maximum rate
(« Send: normal ») in a future version.
There are also some fixes to the user interface; in particular, the chat
should now be visible on iPad again.

* Fixed a bug in the loss estimator. We will now reduce the rate more
aggressively when there is loss in the client->serer direction.
* Fixed display of the chat on some devices.
* Exported the group.Description data structure for the sake of external
configuration tools.
