[Galene] Basic room/group management with a PHP app

Hi,

FYI, I started (yesterday [*]) to code a very basic php application to 
manage Galène groups.

Main purpose is to avoid creating manually each group (can be time 
consuming for an admin and a large installation).

There is not so many options for now. Any contribution is welcome as 
long as the whole application remains simple.

Excellent.  This does things the way I envisioned them — having the
management server separate from Galène, and communicating with the Galène
server over the filesystem.

Please let me know if you want me to link from the galene.org page.

Please let me know if there are any features that would be useful to add
to Galène.  The obvious idea would be to have a field in the group file
that specifies the time at which the group ceases to work.

Indeed, it could be serve through a (container) persistent storage, nfs, ...

Yes, why not (it is still small and young but may be helpful...).
